PLAYFUL LANDSCAPE

I do love designing for kids. There is much scope for the imagination (Anne of Green Gable reference). For this project I REALLY wanted to include a round lawn with all the outdoor rooms and areas of activity radiating outward.

This family now has such a variety of spaces to choose from: an adult lounging area with comfortable seating and a fire pit for relaxation and quiet conversations, a heritage rose garden showcasing fragrant, classic varieties with pollinator-attracting plants nestled among them, a new shed big enough for play and gardening equipment, an edible garden featuring raised beds and espaliered fruit trees for the family chef, a hammock for reading in a shady area, and a covered patio adjacent to the house that serves as an outdoor dining and entertaining space with ample seating for family gatherings.

The circular theme creates a sense of unity while allowing each family member to find their own favorite spot in the garden!
